Lichfield Greenhill Bower  

This year's Bower will be held on Monday 31st May 2010.  Come along with your family and enjoy the entertainment.

On Spring Bank Holiday Monday in May, after the Court of Arraye, Lichfield Mercury Bower Queen is crowned at 12 noon, outside the Guildhall by the Mayor of Lichfield. This is then followed by a traditional street carnival which originates from the 12th century, and consists of floats and lots more, led by Green Mans Morris and Sword Club with Guests.

Celebrations continue in Beacon Park with family entertainment, large fun fair, trade and charity stalls and band displays, a true family day out.  Headliners for this year are the return of Band of the Brigade of Gurkhas; BRMB will be joining us in the park with their roadshow, Scruffs Dog Show and with many acts to be confirmed it's shaping up to be a great day!
